A Quote from Franz Rosensweig says
"For the modern Jew, observance is no longer a matter of the all or the nothing, One only has to start. Nobody can tell where this beginning will lead."
This quote is very personal to me! I aspire to help each Jew find a new Jewish beginning or a more meaningful Jewish direction. My mission is to become that starting point or restarting point in your life and to help each Jew understand the beauty and the wonder of what it means to be Jewish. Together, we will work to engender good, positive feelings about being Jewish, and my hope is that feeling will metamorphosis into action and the choice to practice more mitzvahs. Judaism is religion of doing. We are obligated to do the Mitzvot or Commandments. In a time when so many Jews feel they are uneducated in the ways of Judaism, it is my passion and desire to be the guide to Jewish experiences that are executed with simplicity and meaning. Jewish experiences that are fascinating (and yes, Judaism can be fascinating!) Jewish experiences that are warm, loving and fun. In so doing, I aspire to help create a circle of Jewish life with personal meaning. I would like to help each person create a life of Tzdedakah (Charity), Gemilut Chasadim (Lovingkindness including Social Justice) and Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World). Together we will find meaning in all things Jewish, where each will learn to do the most important of Mitzvot: learn for themselves, practice for themselves and teach their children.
